Established in the mid 1970's with the hopes of preserving the unique characteristics of this magnificent breed,
Keikewabic Alaskan Malamutes have had the joy & pleasure to witness their diligent, tireless ability as workers in harness, obedience, in the conformation ring, but most of all, as loving family pets.
We have bred well over 100 Canadian Champions, Multi Best in Show Dogs, Specialty winners, World, International, Australian, Spanish,
Cyprus, African, Israeli, Finnish, Danish, Portuguese, Mexican, Russian, and American Champions, not to mention the numerous working titles they have achieved over the years from sledding to
pack backing!! We've also had the privilege to breed and own AMCC Top Studs and Bitches. We are also four time Pedigree Top Breeder of the Year
winners, and we're proud to include that Keikewabic's are the breeders of the
first CYPRUS Champion Alaskan Malamutes. (see

We are naturally proud of our dogs achievements in and out of the ring, but we strive first and foremost for healthy, good tempered dogs. Whether for companionship, sledding or showing, Keikewabic
Malamutes are known the world over as
"those super moving dogs with fantastic temperaments, longevity, and personality"
